Dedre Bickler-Sines

Dedre is an avid oil painter. She paints both plein air and from photographs she takes during her travels. Dedre paints from various locations in Laguna Beach and along the California coastline. She has traveled to Switzerland, France and Italy to paint. Dedre was born and raised in southern California.
Often coming to the beaches as a child she grew to love the coastline of Laguna Beach. She was highly influenced by the early California plein air painters. Dedre was first exhibited at the age of thirteen at Orange Coast College. She continued her art education with Famous Artists School Course, Westport Connecticut. Dedre has also attended various workshops. In 1993 Dedre moved to Laguna Beach to pursue her love, and long time passion for oil painting. Dedre is a Laguna Beach art festival exhibitor. You will see her work at the Sawdust Art Festival held in the summer. Dedre maintains an active show schedule and private commissions.
