Dedre Bickler-Sines

Dedre is an avid oil painter. She paints both plein air and from photographs she takes during her travels. Dedre paints from various locations in Laguna Beach and along the California coastline. She has traveled to Switzerland, France and Italy to paint. Dedre was born and raised in southern California. Often coming to the beaches as a child she grew to love the coastline of Laguna Beach. She was highly influenced by the early California plein air painters. Dedre graduated from Tustin High School in 1967.  She continued her art education with The Famous Artists School Course, Westport Connecticut. Dedre has also attended workshops with Ken Auster and Saim Caglayan. Dedre is a member of the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association. She lives in Laguna Beach.
